Indian Structural Codes, Made Machine-Executable
Vidhi converts India's structural design codes — IS 456, IS 800, IS 1893, IS 13920 and 11 more — into a queryable, executable knowledge graph. Engineers run clause-cited compliance checks and download calculation sheets showing every formula with values substituted.
VAULT
The document layer. Source IS code PDFs with their full amendment history, processed by a vision-AI extraction pipeline that reads even scanned, image-only standards documents.
CODEX
The structured knowledge graph. Every clause is captured with its formula, variable definitions, cross-references and supersession links — so the design authority chain across codes is machine-traversable.
AI_Structure
The compliance engine. 536 callable clause checks across 9 structural check types — from RC beams to wind loads — each returning pass/fail, utilisation ratio and the governing clause.
Vidhi is an internal R&D platform in engineer-validation phase. Pilot collaborations with structural engineering firms are planned.
